Ingredients needed to make a Rosemary-Lemon Bubbles
2 ounces rosemary simple syrup
2 ounces lemon juice (we like Meyer lemons when we can get them)
1 bottle of Prosecco
Dell Cove Spice Co. lavender colored cocktail rim sugar
Sparkly pick (we made our own)
Handful of fresh raspberries for garnish
Rosemary-Lemon Bubbles Cocktail Recipe Directions
Rim champagne glasses with cocktail rim sugar. Divide the the rosemary syrup and lemon juice between 2 champagne flutes & gently stir. Top off glasses with sparkling wine. Add pick with raspberries (and turn on the music)!
To make the rosemary simple syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
4 pieces of fresh organic rosemary, 5 inches long each
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Simmer for one minute, then remove from the heat and cool for a half hour, then strain into a jar. (Use a filter lined with #4 coffee filters). Then, remove the rosemary and cool syrup enough to put into refrigerator. Chill before using.
(Perfect in the bath tub for two. Or over a romantic dinner.)
