Ingredients needed to make a Latin Quarter
2 oz Dark Rum
1/2 bar spoon Simple Syrup
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 dash Bitter Truth Xocolatl Mole Bitters
3 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
Latin Quarter Cocktail Recipe Directions
Fill an old fashioned glass with ice and a dash of Absinthe.
Stir the Rum, Sugar Cane Syrup and bitters in an ice filled shaker glass.
Swirl the old fashioned glass to ensure that the rinse coats the entire inside of the glass then dump contents.
Strain liquid from shaker into the glass.
Twist lemon peel into glass then rim and garnish with peel.
This is quite the sipper. It's my initial test drive of Bitter Truth Xocolatl Mole Bitters. It contains wonderful notes of chocolate, cinnamon and spices.

Interesting. Need to explore bitters more fully. Nice post. Ive got angostura and peychauds...
This is basically an Old Fashioned except with rum and different bitters. Great way to test new bitters.
Nice doctoring up of a glass of rum. The variety of bitters on the market allows for so many possible cocktail combinations.
