tedvilla's Notes

Drank this also with @theFreeArtist (it was a drinking weekend). Inspired to try this from my Palm experience. This had more body, less sweetness than the Palm. It was fuller slightly nutty and about the same color as Newcastle Brown. I prefer it to the Harpoon Choco Stout. Same sense of Harpoon-carbonation though -- I expect different fizz from different brews, and don't get it in Harpoon.

I've had most of the Harpoon varieties, but never this particular one. I'll certainly keep an I out for it. Sounds right up my alley.

Not a Harpoon variety that I've tasted thus far, but your complete description compels me to do so.

I had a sample of this at the Harpoon Brewery in Boston during a tour. It was nothing outstanding, though solid on all levels. Their cider is what stood out that day, but sadly the bottled version paled in comparison to the brewery tap version.
