Gran Centenario Añejo Tequila

Ingredients needed to make a Gran Centenario Añejo Tequila

2-3 oz Gran Centenario Añejo Tequila
Ice (optional)
Lime Wedge (optional)

Gran Centenario Añejo Tequila Cocktail Recipe Directions

Enjoy opening up the classy card board box. Feel the ribbed glass bottle as you notice the amber hue of the fine contents. Pop the cork and allow your olfactory sense to sample the rich wood aromas. Now pour it into a quality glass and sip slowly. Savor the obvious moment of fine-living. If you prefer a little ice or a lime slice, have at it. Nothing will take away from the sheer quality of this Cognac of tequilas.

Bartender's Notes

Gran Centenario Añejo is the high-end of the Cuervo Family Brands. It is made from 10-12 year old agave plants, then aged in "never before used" French Limousin oak casks for 18 months before bottling. One of the finest Tequila's I've ever had.

I like the Hornitos Añejo and the Herradura Añejo, but I've never had the chance to try this one. Sounds perfect.

¡muy bien! This tequila is amazing. My sister gave me a bottle for my birthday a couple years ago. I have about a third of it left. I save it for special moments.

I have had this, and I concur. This is so far away from what so many think of tequila that it's a different galaxy altogether.
