@winocat Punt e Mes is kind of half way between a vermouth and a bitters sort of like Campari. Although its not as harsh/strong as Campari and has a sweeter flavor.
I haven't been to Drink yet, despite working right next to the putrid Fort Point channel. The name of this cocktail unfortunately conjures up for me visions of that stinky cesspool liquid in a glass! I'm sure it's actually delicious though! What is the flavor of Punt e Mes?
Must try,...must make for others. Great cam shot
I like the Sazerac, this sounds like a beaut. What Rye do you use? I'm often frustrated by the lack of Rye selection in area liquor stores.
This is my kind of unique, but basic cocktail.
Thanks. That pic was taken on the bar at drink. I love how it shows that amber glow.
You know I love the Sazerac, so I will be whipping a couple of these beauties together. Fantastic photograph FF. -Bartender
