This is an interesting beer, but it may be more interesting than delicious. I'm not a big fan of fruity beers, or even really spiced summer brews but this on caught my eye -- partially it was watermelon (what's more summery than that?) and also because of the killer packaging -- the cans are beautiful & funny and the six pack is a box with the great design on it. The watermelon is more noticeable as the beer warms up, and it goes well with the wheat though it's not overly sweet. It's more watermelon rind than watermelon meat. Again, I can't say that I love it but it's really interesting.

The Blue Hills Brewery just came out with a Watermelon Wheat which is a watermelon version of their Wampatuck Wheat. I had it at a bar and thought it was refreshing in the hot weather! I must compare the 2 watermelon wheats!
