Bogle Chardonnay

tedvilla's Notes
Another from the recent wine & cheese party. Not usually a fan of American chards -- too sweet over-oaked and flabby. This is very true to an old world chard done in steel tanks and very rigorous. Reminded of a nice Chablis which is Chardonnay.

@bartender this was one of the better wines I had at the party where I had this and other recent wine posts and I was seriously surprised. I really don't like very many American chards (Cakebread Cellars being another rare exception)but this was surprisingly good and very old world. Rigorous and minerally come to mind.

This one doesn't sound like an award winner, but the more wine submissions, the better!
